Jay Ungar has performed and recorded with mid-60s rock band,
Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys, the Putnam String County Band, Fiddle Fever, The David Bromberg.Band, and with his wife Molly Mason.    His composition, "Ashokan Farewell," became famous as the theme song of Ken Burns' Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated PBS documentary series, The Civil War.
On radio and television, Jay has appeared on CBS Good Morning, The Rosie O'Donnel Show, All Things Considered, A Prairie Home Companion, and the BBC's Transatlantic Sessions. He and Molly broadcast a live-performance radio show, Dancing on the Air.
Lyn Hardy has performed with Jay Ungar, The Putnam String County Band, Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys, David Bromberg, The Rude Girls,  Abby Newton (Celtic Crossing) and toured and recorded with them all. She currently performs with The Mother Daughter String Band with Abby Newton, Ruth Ungar Merenda (Lyn's Daughter) and Rosie Newton (Abby's Daughter).
Lyn's singing has been described as rich, honest, strong, stirring and straight from the heart.   Her performances draw from a vast and varied repertoire of music. Lyn loves to sing and her joy is infectious, whether it's a concert, coffeehouse, festival, workshop, or a children's show, she gives her all!
